God is rational
(I believe) If God exists, science must have an explanation for it. Not now, not in a decade, maybe not in a century, maybe never by humans, but God can be explained. Religion is an layman's way of understanding the forces that we don't have explanations for. It, in a way, encourages you to turn a blind eye towards what is unknown. That is exactly opposite of what humans are-inquisitive, questioning, wondering; the qualities that bore science and nurture it.
